A shoe or a chair?

I consider myself a truly free-spirited person who accepts any innovations and quirks. You will not hear me condemn something just because it is not in my closet. But the next shoes made me wonder whether they are just another human genius expressed in the art of creating shoes or madness took shape this “shoe”.

I do not know any woman who would put that on. But let’s do a quick bid, maybe among you is one that would like to collect the eyes of all your friends and acquaintances, or strangers on the street with these shoes.

As you might guess these shoes are more for the catwalk and for show unlikely to be sold in large quantities in stores. However, if you want to have them, we can tell you that they are made of natural materials in the form of sandals that are tied at the top of the ankle. The laces are soft and will not cause discomfort.

The color to me personally is really nice – black and red shoes and clothes have always been favorite for me, and speak of elegance and taste. So far anything new under the sun. But once you turn the shoe you will see not one, but two currents as one is in front of the shoe, i.e. where the toes step. They are thick and remind me of the legs on a stool or chair. But when you think about it, these are probably one very stable shoes because not only is the heel reinforced, but also where the toes step so as to evenly distribute the body weight over the entire foot.

However these shoes remain only suitable for exceptional cases such as an extravagant party or a masked ball. And of course for cat walking on the fashion podium. For ordinary cases there are simpler models of shoes.

Goofy shoes, worthy of extravagant queens

In the spirit of a lazy Sunday we offer several crazy pairs of shoes that to us seemed both beautiful and not so impossible to wear.

The first kind of shoes are seemingly completely normal, for the spring-summer season with open toes, the colors are perfectly normal, and the materials from which they are made of. Everything is normal. Until you turn the shoe towards you to see how high currents is. Oh but it is not there! Look a little farther and just where the arch of your foot rises, you will see a five-inch, stable current. Yep, there, where by default the current should be – at the heel, there is nothing. Honestly, I do not know how exactly to walk with such a shoe, but they look relatively “normal”.

The next type of shoes are sandals in very interesting patterns and unusual shape of the heel. They are high as one classic stiletto – 14 cm, made of leather for the straps at the top, resembling twisted lianas, the insole is also from leather. Under the gold colored straps, is the insole itself and the outsole that are in an interesting brown-and-white pattern that reminds me a little of Dalmatian spots. The current is the one that makes a very big impression – it is a white-marble statue of a woman that could be compared to any of the goddesses of fertility in African culture. Interesting and in our opinion possible to wear.

The third type of shoes are classic white sandals, opened at the toes and the heel, but they attract the eye with their platinum white outsole and heel. The interesting thing here is the strange squiggles and balls that come out of the sole and are located around the heel, but thanks to that walking would be more stable. These sandals may take the brains of every man and would make every woman jealous at a company party or a formal cocktail.

Pair number 4 are quite interesting and frankly crazy shoes, which interestingly blend into purple-blue-yellow-red-green. Or at least only their sole and current. The upper part of the sandals is blue and is fastened to your leg with four clasps one for each strap. Quite interesting indeed, for a masquerade party or just a friendly gathering.

Of the last shoes the only strange thing is the very form of the current. Otherwise the shoe has a quite normal design. The current is metallic, slightly dumpy while at the middle there is a hole. The height is exactly like of one stiletto. The patterns of the shoes are interesting black and white spots. It is fastened by the three straps on the front.

And this will definitely happen if you choose one of the best shoe designers – Christian Louboutin. His brand is synonymous with extravagance and let’s face it – crazy shoes. Born in 1964, which makes him one of the youngest designers who has reached the tops of fame. In 1975, at the age of 11, he is fascinated by a strange picture of The African Art Museum in Paris – a women’s shoe with a sharp current which is highlighted with a red line. Since then started his passion for design and fulfillment of women’s whims.

Between 1980 and 1986, he works at his first job as an art designer of musical halls. He is also a freelance designer and has worked with such names as Yves Saint Laurent, Chanel and others.

In 1989 Louboutin turns his look at garden design.

In 1992 Christian Louboutin opens his first boutique in Paris with his own shoe brand.

In 1994 he opens his first New York boutique with brand shoes. After many awards and cooperatives with young designers, today his shoe brand is recognizable worldwide. His shoes can be found in 48 countries around the world in 20 boutiques. Now he continues to create shoes for young and talented designers.

Famous Shoe Designers: Alexander McQueen

In the world of fashion and not only, there has always been faces, which like shooting stars pass through our lives and leave bright traces. Such a person was Alexander McQueen – the most genius young shoe designer of the past decade.

Born in 1969, he died in the beginning of the year 2010 – on the 10^th of February, claimed to be from drug overdose. It’s a fact, however, that his products were and still are posthumously, the most shocking, but the most worn and wanted.

At first, before creating his own shoes line, he works as a hat designer for Givenchy. This happens five years before establishing his own brand. His shoes were worn and still are by such eccentric stars like David Bowie, Björk, Lady Gaga, Ayumi Hamasaki and Kelis. Due to that, he is given the title The Best Designer of all times.

He is the youngest of the six children of Scots Ronald and Joyce Mcqueen, working as a taxi driver and a social worker. He grew up in different consulates and other places where his mother worked. In the beginning he started sewing clothes for his three older sisters and that’s when he became enthusiastic about design.

At the age of 16 he drops out of school and starts sewing clothes for theatre plays. First he works for Savile Row, then for Anderson & Sheppard, after that comes the time of Gieves & Hawkes, before joining the theater school and making costumes for the biggest theatrical artists of Angels and Bermans. All of these names in the sewing arts helped him develop his sense and shape the future face of his brand.

Later he opened his own boutique, which dresses some of the biggest stars. His genius doesn’t also leave and other parts of fashion untouched – shoes. His shoes are in the style of his clothes – extravagant and shocking. But inexplicably still worn by each star over a period of their careers.

Undoubtedly Alexander McQueen left a big mark in the world of fashion and the world will not forget him soon.
